This photo was taken on the shopping plaza leading up to the Dom. Even though most of the stores were closed(Sunday), the streets were still full of people. There were many varieties of clothes, shoes, furniture, jewelery, department stores along with delis, coffie shops and bakeries.
Cameron and I are two of the three instructors to do training in Europe. We flew into town earlier in the morning. Tamara, another of the instructors took the shot. She arrived a day ealier and was more rested.

This is a scenic view of a row of Mexican houses. I thought it was an interesting picture becuase of the colorful houses framed by the mountain in the back.
This the hotel that I stayed in. It was fairly new, about a year old. It was very nice and much better than I imagined.
I took many pictures of the hotel; not because it was all that interesting but becuase I didn't really get a chance to get out and see much else.

Here is a shot of my room (I told you I didn't get out much). I have more shots of it from different angles but I won't bore you with them.

This is a view of the conference room where we did the training. This was taken during a quick break. Some of the trainee are shown near the door. I guess they didn't need a break.
This is a low light, out of focus shot of the inside of the airplane. We were in the business class section. It was very nice. I took this shot without the flash so that I wouldn't alarm the passengers that were sleeping, or for that matter, the ones that were awake.
The section was very spacious. We had seats that we in the back, center section. They were great because we could get out without having to step over anyone and we could see everyone in the section. The seat were fully reclineable and they each had a personal TV monitor that you could watch various movies. I watched "Eight Legged Freaks", a movie about mutated spiders. Cameron, watched "Scooby Dooby Do". Hey!To each their own.

Colonge is interesting in that as you walk around the Dom plaza there are many different artists doing everything you could imagine. Everywhere you have variuos musicans, jugglers, painter and other types of artist. This is a picture of one of the artist doing a chaulk drawing on the plaza. Pretty good, huh.
We also saw two mimes in front of the Dom. One was dress in a gold business suit with a briefcase and a hat. He look like someone from a 1940's movie. His act was to freeze in place and pretend to be a statue. He would stay that way until someone walked up to him then he would come alive. His partner was also dressed in gold and was made up to look like an Egytian statue of a queen. She just stood there.
This is a partical view of the Dom in Colonge, Germany. This is one of the first place that we visited and one of the most impressive.
